Allison Barry is an experienced communications advisor who joins Greenbrier from a politics and government background.
Most recently, Allison held various roles in the Biden-Harris administration. As Press Secretary and Special Advisor for Secretary Julie A. Su and the U.S. Department of Labor, Allison coordinated media engagement and press events across the country. Prior to that, Allison held both operational and communications roles for Secretary Miguel A. Cardona and the U.S. Department of Education where she focused on international affairs and educational technology. Before joining the Biden administration, Allison worked on Terry McAuliffe’s 2021 gubernatorial campaign and the 2020 Pennsylvania Democratic Coordinated Campaign.
Allison is a graduate of College of the Holy Cross, where she double-majored in Political Science and Italian and played Division 1 Volleyball. In her free time, Allison enjoys cooking for her friends and family.
